Coal washing magnetic drum is a type of magnetic separation equipment used in coal washing process. The magnetic drum uses its magnetic properties to separate the iron minerals in coal.
The coal washing process with magnetic drum may include these steps:
Feeding: Coal is fed to the Eng Mineral magnetic separator before starting the washing process. At this stage, coal is usually brought to appropriate sizes.
Magnetic Separation: Eng Mineral drum magnet creates a magnetic field to attract the iron minerals on the coal. While the coal rotates in the drum, the iron minerals adhering to the inner surface of the magnetic drum are carried to the surface of the drum by the effect of the magnetic field. In this way, iron minerals are separated from coal.
Washing and Separation: After the Eng Mineral magnetic separator separation process, the coal can be subjected to washing and separation processes. In these processes, coal is washed, cleaned and separated into different size and density fractions.
Finishing Processes: The washed and magnetically separated coal is dried by separation of water or washing solution and made ready for further processing or transportation.
ENG MINERAL coal washing magnetic drum is used to improve the quality of coal and reduce iron content by separating iron minerals in coal. The design of the magnetic drum and the magnetic field strength are important factors affecting the attraction power and separation efficiency of the iron mineral. The process parameters and the structure of the drum are adjusted depending on the desired coal quality and separation requirements.
Eng Mineral, which manufactures magnetic separator, aims to meet the magnetic separator needs of its customers by offering a series of services such as design, production, assembly, sales, maintenance, repair, technical support, consultancy, training and business optimization.
